In my painting practice, I explore the inherent tension between the traditions of figurative representation and abstract, scribble-like gestures. My series titled Stations of Inner Spaces maps the progressive stages of an interior journey into the layers of the subconscious, where personal associations, collective symbols, female experiences, and lived vulnerability inevitably collide.

The somber, grey-toned painterly universe that forms the foundation of these works establishes a mental zone in which recurring motifs flash forward to signify traumatic or unresolved psychological conflicts. The series is divided into two major structural units: the compositions of Conscious-Unconscious Spaces introduce everyday and cultural objects—such as the washbasin, symbolizing the private sphere and domestic female labor, or the sculptural bust evoking the metaphysical world of Giorgio de Chirico—which exert a hypnotic, confrontational force under the piercing glare of an interrogative spotlight.

The paired works in Encounters represent attempts to confront the inner child and the vulnerable self. The exposure of the nude or semi-nude female figures carries profound reflections on feminist art practice. The internal tension of the compositions derives precisely from failed interactions: the encounter between the figures and the menacing, instinctual black-and-magenta masses often remains unfulfilled; the body turns away, leaving the presence of the unconscious within a psychological blind spot. Through these paintings, I render visible these fleeting spiritual thresholds—the fragile moments suspended between profound anxiety and sudden realization.
